Beginner

Be an active community member from day one: show up consistently, introduce yourself to regulars, thank organizers, and post positively about events. Your enthusiasm as a newcomer is contagious and reminds veterans why they fell in love with bachata.

Intermediate

If you see a gap in your local scene—no beginner-friendly socials, no practice nights, no online group—fill it. Partner with venue owners, collaborate with other organizers, and always prioritize the community's health over any individual's ego, including your own.

Community audit: list three things your local scene does well and three gaps. Pick one gap and create a simple plan to address it. Even something as small as a monthly beginner social or a WhatsApp group for practice partners can transform a scene.
