1. Service Description

BachataHub.com ("the platform", "we", "us") is a community platform for the bachata dance scene. We provide information about dance clubs, classes, parties, events, festival trips, dance partners, and instructors.

The platform is operated independently. For contact, email oz@bachatahub.com.

By using BachataHub — including browsing, registering, or uploading content — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use BachataHub. Users aged 16-18 must have parental or guardian consent. We may request age verification at any time.

2.2 Registration

Account creation requires a valid email address and password (or Google OAuth). You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep it up to date.

Each person may hold only one account. Creating duplicate accounts, impersonation accounts, or accounts under misleading names is prohibited.

2.3 Account Security

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your login credentials. All activity under your account is considered yours. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• • No harassment: Do not send threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or sexually explicit messages to other users.
• • Respect on the dance floor: BachataHub promotes a respectful dance community. Profiles or content encouraging inappropriate behavior are not tolerated.
• • Accurate profiles: Provide truthful information about your dance level, role, experience, and identity. Do not impersonate others.
• • No spam: Do not send unsolicited promotional messages or mass messages to users.
• • No scraping: Do not use bots, scripts, or automated tools to extract data from the platform.
• • No malicious activity: Do not upload viruses, malware, or any harmful code. Do not attempt to access other users' accounts or disrupt the platform.
• • Legal compliance: Do not use the platform for any unlawful purpose.

4. Club & Instructor Listings

4.1 Information Accuracy

Club and instructor information is gathered from public sources, direct submissions, and our own research. We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that schedules, prices, or availability are up to date. Always verify directly with the club or instructor.

4.2 Claiming & Verification

Club owners or authorized representatives may contact us to claim their listing, update information, or request removal. We may require proof of identity and ownership.

4.3 Club Responsibility

Club owners who update their information on the platform are solely responsible for its accuracy, including schedules, prices, class availability, and contact details. We are not liable for damages resulting from inaccurate information provided by clubs.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for all content you upload, post, or share. You represent that your content: (a) belongs to you or you have the right to publish it; (b) does not infringe third-party rights; (c) is not false, misleading, or harmful; (d) complies with all applicable laws.

5.2 License

By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, store, and process it for the purpose of operating the platform. This license does not transfer ownership of your content to us.

You may delete your content at any time. Deletion revokes this license, subject to reasonable backup retention periods.

5.3 Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any content without prior notice if it violates these terms, harms other users, or could create legal liability.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Platform Ownership

BachataHub owns all rights to the platform, including its design, source code, logo, trademarks, database structure, and all content created by us. No part of the platform may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or commercially used without our prior written consent.

6.2 Your Content

You retain full ownership of the content you upload, subject to the license granted in section 5.2 above.

7. Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

We are not liable for:

• • Accuracy, currency, or completeness of information on the platform, including schedules and prices.
• • Any direct, indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from use of the platform.
• • Interactions, meetings, or transactions between users, including in-person dance encounters.
• • Injuries or damages from dance activities, events, or classes.
• • Conduct of other users, clubs, instructors, or event organizers.
• • Platform availability, technical failures, or data loss.
• • Event cancellations due to security situations, weather, or force majeure.

In any case, our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you (if any) in the 12 months preceding the event, or $25 USD, whichever is lower.

8. Termination

8.1 By You

You may cancel your account at any time by contacting us. Your profile and content will be deleted, subject to legal data retention requirements and reasonable backup periods.

8.2 By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account, restrict access, or remove content at any time and for any reason, including: violation of these terms, abusive behavior, suspected fraud, or prolonged inactivity. We will provide notice when possible but are not obligated to do so.

8.3 Platform Discontinuation

We may discontinue the platform, in whole or in part, at any time. We will try to provide reasonable advance notice but are not obligated to do so.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For material changes, we will post a notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and your use of the platform are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any dispute arising from these terms or the use of the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa, Israel.
